OPENING HYMN

Ave, Regina caelorum, Ave, Domina Angelorum:
Salve, radix, salve, porta, Ex qua mundo lux est orta:
Gaude, Virgo gloriosa, Super omnes speciosa:
Vale, o valde decora, Et pro nobis Christum exora.

Ave Regina Caelorum sung by Ms. Lauren Joyce

PSALM 23

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters, he restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of death,
I will fear no evil, for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of mine enemies;
thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

MORNING OFFERING

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in reparation for my sins, for the intentions of all my relatives and friends, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father. Amen.

PATER NOSTER

PATER NOSTER, qui es in caelis,

sanctificetur Nomen tuum, adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra.

Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie,

et dimitte nobis debita nostra,

sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.

Et ne nos inducas in tentationem,

sed libera nos a malo. Amen.

PRAYER TO ST. MICHAEL

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle,
be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God,
cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits
who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

I pledge allegiance to the Flag

of the United States of America

and to the Republic for which it stands,

One Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

SAINT OF THE DAY

PRECEPTS OF ST. JOHN BOSCO

I will be cheerful.
I will do my duties well.
I will stay close to Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.
I will honor and love Mary as my Mother and Helper.
I will choose to be kind.
I will serve rather than be served

ANNOUNCEMENTS

STABAT MATER

At the Cross her station keeping,
stood the mournful Mother weeping,
close to her Son to the last.

Through her heart, His sorrow sharing,
all His bitter anguish bearing,
now at length the sword had passed.

O how sad and sore distressed
Was that Mother, highly blessed,
Of the sole-begotten One.

Christ above in torment hangs;
she beneath beholds the pangs
of her dying glorious Son.

Is there one who would not weep,
whelmed in miseries so deep
Christ's dear Mother to behold?

Can the human heart refrain
from partaking in her pain,
in that Mother's pain untold?

For the sins of His own nation
She saw Jesus wracked with torment,
All with scourges rent.

She beheld her tender Child,
saw Him hang in desolation,
Till His Spirit forth He sent.

O thou Mother! fount of love!
Touch my spirit from above,
make my heart with thine accord.

Make me feel as you have felt;
make my soul to glow and melt
with the love of Christ my Lord.

Holy Mother! pierce me through,
in my heart each wound renew
of my Saviour crucified.

Let met share with thee His pain,
who for all my sins was slain,
who for me in torments died.

Let me mingle tears with thee,
mourning Him Who mourned for me,
all the days that I may live.

By the Cross with thee to stay,
there with you to weep and pray,
this I ask of thee to give.
