Sohrab Ahmari

Sohrab Ahmari, a convert from secular Islam and atheism, is one of America’s leading Catholic journalists, perhaps the most provocative voice under forty.  He served as the Op-Ed Editor for the New York Post, and has since become a founding editor of the new online magazine Compact, which was just launched in March.

Ahmari is the author of four books, including From Fire by Water: My Journey to the Catholic Faith (Ignatius 2019), Arab Spring Dreams (2012), The New Philistines: How Identity Politics Disfigure the Arts (2016) and The Unbroken Thread: Discovering the Wisdom of Tradition in an Age of Chaos (2021).

Regina Angelorum Academy is an authentically Catholic grade school in Ardmore, Pennsylvania providing a classical, liberal arts education.  RAA is a private, independent Catholic school.   We do not receive financial aid from local parishes or the diocese.  As a tuition-driven and rely on the generous support of benefactors to help keep the cost of a Catholic education affordable.
